Dinosaur Tracks from Yemen

PLoS One has an interesting article called First Dinosaur Tracks from the Arabian Peninsula which discusses a multi-taxon dinosaur trackway discovered in Yemen.

The tracks are those of an ornithopod and a herd of neosauropods and date to the Middle Jurassic or the Cretaceous. Here is a picture of the tracks:

  1. Cool. I sometimes think the tracks and other body impressions are more interesting than the bones.
