Homo erctus Doing What??

I am sure I do not want to know the answer to this…probably, but would the person, from New York, New York, who did the following search to end up at my blog:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=homo erctus sucking dick

Please tell me what you were looking for? Did you find it? Perhaps if you substituted “erectus” (if you are looking for fossil hominids to date – you arn’t a flaming bible thumping hetero by any chance are you?) for erctus you might find what you were looking for. Although, I must say my sight is pretty much G-rated. You might try Pharyngula he’s always writing posts about spider porn and nematode vulva’s and such.

Yup, I’m feeling mean, time for another patch.

  1. How did that search get to your blog? I think I might have to google that myself and see what happens. I don’t think you sound mean at all. Maybe a little snarky, but not mean.

  2. Okay, google fixes the typo. It says, “did you mean homo erectus sucking dick?” Then it gives three sites with homo erectus spelled correctly. You might want to take a look.

  4. I use stat counter as a hit meter. It also gives data on searches used to get to your site and that was the search string used. If you type it in with the erctus spelling you still get to my site.

  5. ok, that is just downright funny. I have searchers looking for trailertrash at my site:) (There is at least one porn site called trailertrash) I think it is hilarious when they pull up a picture of Sgt Mango. Ha ha ha ha

  6. Usually the searches that get people to my sight are pretty normal this is the first off-the-wall search. I think it was either a creationist or a frustrated paleoanthropology student.
